Nuthall Adjusters was started as a family business in 1979 with his daughter/partner, Pamela Maxwell.  Geoffrey has passed away and left his legacy to Pamela Maxwell.

He brought to the business 14 years of police experience as a police officer for the City of Edmonton. He held the ranks of Sergeant and Detective and was involved with all aspects of criminal investigations including fraud, break and enter and theft.  Following his Police career he worked for BCAA as an Adjuster then in 1974 he joined the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.  He worked with the Head Office Claims Department as one of 3 field adjusters handling Major Loss Claims all over BC as well as worked as a Major Loss Examiner and then as a Claims Centre Supervisor.

Pamela  Maxwell
Owner - Adjuster

Pamela started Nuthall Adjusters with her father, Geoff Nuthall in 1979.  Since Geoff's retirement in 2005, Pamela has taken over the business continuing on in his footsteps, providing expert claim investigation.

Pamela specializes in automobile accident claim investigations.  Her expertise includes locating and interviewing witnesses for the purpose of liability assessments and trial preparation, scene investigations and working with the local Police to assist in ascertaining first hand information on accident investigations.  She is an effective, compassionate person working as a liaison between the Insurance Company and their Insured in relation to bodily injury claim handling and negotiating claim settlements.

Tracey Carle
Adjuster

Tracey started with Nuthall Adjusters in March of 2016. This follows her retirement from the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia after over 27 years of claims adjusting.

Tracey specializes in adjusting automobile accident claims. She brings over 25 years of handling bodily injury claims, both litigated and non-litigated.  She works all aspects of claims handling, from liability assessments, scene investigations, witness interviews and statements through to injury handling and settlement negotiations.

Tracey has excellent communication skills and easily connects with customers for a positive claims experience.  She is enthusiastic, quick witted and has a very strong work ethic.

Lori Nygaard
Adjuster

Lori joined our team in July 2017, after her retirement from the Insurance Corporation of BC following 37 years of claims adjusting and dispute resolution.

Lori was an adjuster for 22 of those years and was in the dispute resolution department handling liability disputes for 15 years.  She has extensive training and experience in both of these areas.   Lori has the qualifications to handle all aspects of accident claim investigations, including interviewing witnesses for trial preparation, scene investigations and communicating with the customer’s employer to obtain detailed wage loss information.

Like the rest of our team, Lori specializes in automobile accident claim investigation, providing the customer with reassurance that their claim is being handled professionally and fairly.  Lori prides herself in her excellent communication skills and her strong work ethic.
